This year, I travelled a few hundred kilometres to enter the closest GameJam event.
The theme was "What do we do now?" and inspired some of the greatest games (and some of the worst)
The game was coded in 48 hours in Bordeaux, then I took some time to make it actually run without crashing all the time (might not be all that, but it’s better than it used to be) and touch up the music and some effects.
Strategic games based on a organic simulation, where the previous generations choices are responsible for the next generation welfare. Question is first: ok, What do we do now? How is this game played. Once this is understood, the question becomes… right, do I push on, knowing that death can come for us, at any moment, or do we multiply, and become slower in the process, in the knowledge that oblivion is coming. This is a metaphysics game. Enjoy.
